Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

Account information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored as a salted hash). If you sign in via Google or GitHub, we receive your name, email, and profile image from those providers.

Usage data: We collect information about how you use our tools, including AI Coach sessions, Diagnosis chats, Appraisal requests, Market lookups, Gameroom entries, and Q&A posts. This data is used to provide the service and improve our tools.

Payment information: Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number. Stripe provides us with your subscription status and transaction history.

Images and files: Photos you upload for appraisals, diagnosis, sale reports, or your gameroom are stored on Cloudflare R2. These are associated with your account.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate Silverball Labs tools (AI Coach, Diagnosis, Appraisal, Market Analysis, Gameroom, Q&A)
• To process payments and manage subscriptions
• To send transactional emails (verification, password reset, subscription confirmations)
• To send optional notifications (new answers, comments) — you can unsubscribe at any time
• To generate aggregated, anonymized market pricing statistics
• To improve our AI tools and user experience

3. AI-Generated Content

Our AI tools (Coach, Diagnosis, Appraisal, Market Insights) use Anthropic's Claude API to generate responses. Your inputs (text, images) are sent to Anthropic for processing. Anthropic's data retention and privacy policies apply to that processing. AI-generated advice is for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as professional repair, valuation, or financial guidance.

4. Third-Party Services

• Stripe — payment processing
• Anthropic (Claude) — AI-powered tools
• Cloudflare R2 — image and file storage
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Vercel — hosting and analytics
• Google / GitHub — optional OAuth sign-in
• OPDB — pinball machine identification data

5. Data Retention

Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing will@silverballlabs.com. Anonymized, aggregated market pricing data may be retained after account deletion.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication (session tokens). We use Vercel Analytics for basic, privacy-friendly usage metrics. We do not use advertising cookies or sell your data to third parties.

7. Your Rights

You may access, update, or delete your account information at any time through your profile settings. You may unsubscribe from non-essential emails using the unsubscribe link in any email. For data deletion requests, contact will@silverballlabs.com.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of Silverball Labs after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
