1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Silverball Labs ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Silverball Labs provides AI-powered tools for pinball machine owners, collectors, and technicians, including AI Coach, AI Diagnosis, AI Appraisal, Market Analysis, Gameroom management, and community Q&A. The Service is provided on a freemium basis with optional paid subscriptions.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

4. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Our AI tools generate responses based on machine learning models and community data. This content is for informational purposes only and does not constitute professional advice. Specifically:

• AI Diagnosis: Troubleshooting suggestions are not a substitute for professional repair. Always follow proper safety procedures when working on pinball machines, especially around high-voltage components.
• AI Appraisal: Value estimates are based on historical sales data and AI analysis. They are not professional appraisals and should not be solely relied upon for purchase, sale, or insurance decisions.
• AI Coach: Training guidance is educational in nature. Verify techniques before applying them to valuable machines.
• Market Analysis: Pricing data is aggregated from various sources and may not reflect current local market conditions.

Silverball Labs is not liable for decisions made based on AI-generated content.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled. You may cancel at any time from your account settings; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact will@silverballlabs.com.

6. User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of content you post (questions, answers, comments, photos, sale reports). By posting, you grant Silverball Labs a non-exclusive license to display, distribute, and use that content within the Service. Sale reports you submit may be used in aggregated, anonymized market pricing data.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Submit intentionally false sale reports or pricing data
• Scrape, crawl, or programmatically access the Service without permission
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Post spam, malicious content, or content that infringes on others' rights

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Silverball Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to damages from reliance on AI-generated content, inaccurate pricing data, or service interruptions.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting will@silverballlabs.com.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
